Do your own setting out

We hire out GPS and robotic total stations for DIY setting out of your next project.

We rent out  Topcon robotic total stations and can be supplied with built in cameras to photograph each point set out or the recording the construction work as it progresses. These instruments are used for setting out very precise work or when GPS has limited line of site to the sky which is necessary for GPS instruments to work accurately

No Experience?

We can help get you confident in using Topcon or Trimble equipment to set out your own project when you need it and not when the next engineer is available.

We can take you proposed development AutoCAD drawings and load them into our survey loggers and with a 10minute daily setup time you can walk around the site and immediately know where new construction elements are to be position and their correct level to within 10-20mm accuracy. Range of Base and Rover kit is up to 5KM and we have VRS versions which dial in to the internet and can cover the entire country subject to internet connection and distance to closest base station

Asbuilt records can be documented as the work proceeds to save time trying to locate buried services for asbuilt records for adoption or Facilities Management.

We also hire out CAT and genies if services do need to be traced and documented or the ground needs checked for cables before digging starts.
